Welcome to St. Mary's Church Foy

In 2010 the Church successfully completed a re-roofing project, preserving the life of the building for the use and appreciation of future generations. The Foy PCC would like to thank everyone who helped to make the project a success and of course none of this would have been possible without the generous donations of visitors, parishioners and charitable institutions alike.

A new webpage detailing the project will be added to the site in due course.

This website is split into major sections (e.g. home, service schedule, fees etc.) which can easily be accessed by clicking the links at the bottom right of the picture banner at the top of the page.

On this page one can find answers to some frequently asked questions (FAQs), by clicking on the "jump-to" links in the sub-menu to the left.

Please note that all images of Foy church on this website are digitally marked and are subject to the copyright of Foy Parochial Church Council. Images must not be copied without prior consent of the PCC. For more information, please click here.

Where is Foy Church?

St. Mary's Church is in the hamlet of Foy, just North of Ross on Wye in South Herefordshire.

Due to our secluded location on a peninsula in a meander of the River Wye and the fact that the village can only be accessed via a no-through road, we can be difficult to find.

Below is a fully interactive map of our location. You can move the map by holding down the left mouse button in the window and dragging the mouse. Also, you can zoom in and out by using the plus and minus buttons in the top left of the window.

Foy church is signified by the blue marker:

To get directions to the church from anywhere in the UK, simply click on the blue marker, then click on "To here" in the pop-out box, enter your postcode and finally click the "Go" button.

Please note that Google Maps will open in a new window after clicking "Go".

As you enter the village of Foy you will drive past a large stone and red brick wall on your right, promptly followed by farm outbuildings on your left. After this the entrance to the church car park is the next right (n.b. our church notice board is situated at the entrance).
